Many of you are probably aware of the monthly beauty boxes you can receive. There are a variety out there which I discovered but I found the most popular ones to be Birchbox, Glossybox, Latest in Beauty and Look Fantastic. After consulting with other beauty fans about whether or not they were worth signing up for and which was the best one I opted for Look Fantastic. I am certainly up for trying other beauty boxes but for now I am very pleased with the first Look Fantastic Box I received.
I signed up at the beginning of this week and received the April box within a few days. I chose to subscribe for 12 months as it was only £13 a month which was the cheapest option and with a full year of beauty products you just cant go wrong! Each month you receive 6 products and I am so excited to see what will come each month! Plus, for signing up I received a free product which is said to be worth over £30!! I received an Aurelia Probiotic Skincare Revitalise and Glow Serum which I am certainly looking forward to testing because at its original price its got to be good right?!
So, my first thought when I opened the package to see the box was I already LOVE IT!!! I don’t know about anyone else but I just love products more when they are presented in a beautiful or interesting way. I love the way its all presented in a box. Tissue paper covering the products and the products are placed within that cut up paper stuff (not sure what its called!) so the products aren’t damaged and it just looks so pretty!
Not only do you receive 6 beauty products but also an ELLE magazine and a Look Fantastic Beauty Box magazine which tells you about what’s in the box and how to apply the products.
So, lets talk about what inside April’s box!
Firstly, as soon as I opened this box I was hit with an amazing scent! It was the Dr Botanicals Vegan Bergamont and Poppy Seed Soap. The packing for this box seems rather dull and boring but with a scent like that you just know its going to be good. Plus being a vegan product its going to be natural ingredients.
Also in the box there is Nip and Fab Glycolic Fix Daily Cleansing Wipes. Now, I already know what these are like as there actually already part of my daily routine so I definitely know I’ll be using them!
Thirdly, we have Glamglow Supermud Clearing Treatment. I don’t know why but I’m already drawn to this product by its name Glamglow. I’m picturing something shiny that makes my face glow. Plus, its used as a facemask and I am a big fan of face masks so I cant wait to try that!
Next we have Emma Hardie Moringa Cleansing Balm. I am all for testing different facial cleansers and I have tried a variety so I look forward to seeing if this one is any different. Plus it says it can be used over night for spots or breakouts which I still occasionally get and I am yet to find a product that stops that so we’ll see how this one works!
Up next is the PUR Fully Charged Mascara. I don’t often wear mascara unless for a special occasion. I will certainly being testing this mascara as I have tried a few different brands and I don’t find them to be any different so it’ll be good to see what this one turns out like.
Lastly we have Nuxe Crème Fraiche de Beauté which is a moisturiser. I have tried many moisturisers on my face and again, I am yet to find one that works for me so I’m certainly glad to try a new brand!
So, this is my first look at my first Look Fantastic Beauty Box and I am very excited to try these products and share the results with you! After only receiving one beauty box I already recommend any beauty lover to sign up to these as at £13 a month you really cant go wrong! Next week I shall be posting on my blog sharing my thoughts on the products after testing them. Feel free to comment your experiences on these products if you’ve tried them! It’ll be great to hear your thoughts too!
